Our History
Steeple View is a building with a rich and varied past, deeply woven into the fabric of Trim’s local history. It began life as a barber shop with a billiard room, serving as a popular meeting place in the community. Over the years, it also housed a tailor shop — the last tailor in Trim — as well as a television shop and a kitchen shop.
Later, it became home to a jeweller’s shop and the beloved wool shop The Spinning Wheel.
In 2014, the building was carefully converted into holiday homes. Since then, it has been run as a small family business, continuing to welcome guests while preserving the unique character and charm of its storied past.
